I took up Pilates over 20 years ago on the advice of my Specialist for an ongoing medical condition which in part affects both my joints and muscles.
Pilates was completely different to any form of exercise I had experienced and I soon felt the benefits it brought. I am passionate about Pilates, it is part of me and has changed my life in many ways.
In 2005 I trained with the Michael King’s Pilates Institute in London and gained my Matwork Certificate. Since qualifying I have attended further courses, lectures and workshops to further my knowledge and understanding. I am Cimspa registered and fully insured.
I now teach mat based and small equipment Pilates classes in and around Tunbridge Wells, for all levels, from beginners to advanced.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a series of exercises by Joseph Pilates, designed to develop strong, lean muscles, improve flexibility, strength and posture.
